 Waxing is one of the most highly requested and lucrative money making services for an esthetician in the skin care profession. Most estheticians do not get enough information or practice while in school, and feel unprepared, lack confidence, and would prefer to avoid this service that clients highly request. Waxing can be a great service add-on to other salon/spa treatments, or can be a specialty boutique for waxing or hair removal services only.
In this class students will learn how, when, where, and why to use hard and soft waxes, the various materials to be used in soft waxing (muslin, pellon, or French lace strips). This course will cover waxing all of the body, except Bikini. (All Bikini waxing services are covered in a separate class). Why not come and learn to be a proficient waxing esthetic professional?
Morning Session Students will learn:
- Safety and Sanitation Procedures and Review
- Hard waxes (why, what, where, when, and how)
- Soft waxes (why, what, where, when, and how)
- Materials to use (why, what, where, when, and how)
- Client Consultations and Expectations
- Marketing your waxing services to build a clientele and profitable business
Afternoon Session Students will have hands-on demonstration/training:
- Client Consultations and Expectations
- Hard vs. Soft Waxes
- Muslin, Pellon, or French Lace
- Practical Application (model needed or willing to practice on each other in the class if needed)
- After care and clean-up of the waxed area
- Follow-up with clients after the service

**NOTE: Attendees need to bring a client, model or willing to work on one another for hands-on practice. Products and supplies will be made available for the students to use and information on purchasing waxing supplies will be made available to licensed professionals.

Bring another professional with you to attend any of our classes and receive a $20 discount. Candidate will be required to provide 72 hours cancellation notice prior to the class for a refund or to be applied to another class of their choice.
